Rebecca utilizes her diverse background as a former compliance officer, federal prosecutor, and high-stakes litigator to help Fey LLC’s corporate clients develop and implement creative and effective solutions to their unique privacy and information governance challenges.  Rebecca has many years of experience providing legal advice on a wide variety of compliance issues; performing compliance risk assessments; developing risk mitigation strategies; preparing and conducting compliance training; and assisting clients in designing and implementing best practice solutions to help ensure their regulatory compliance.

While at Fey LLC, Rebecca has assisted Fey LLC’s clients with privacy and security compliance assessments; PCI-DSS compliance; privacy compliance in the context of mergers and acquisitions; cyber insurance reviews; and GDPR compliance.  Rebecca also has drafted privacy policies and contract addenda covering privacy and security compliance topics for Fey LLC’s clients.

Rebecca’s experience prior to joining Fey LLC has been useful to her in assisting the firm’s clients.  Her regulatory experience includes not only preparing written responses and coordinating document productions for regulatory matters, but also negotiating with regulators.  Rebecca’s prosecutorial experience gave her the opportunity to forge good relationships with the federal agents and prosecutors with whom she worked.  Rebecca’s years of experience assisting corporations while at an Am Law 100 firm also has been useful to her in assisting Fey LLC’s corporate clients with their privacy and information governance needs.  Her experience was not limited to representing clients in regulatory and complex litigation matters around the country, but also involved proactively counseling U.S. and multinational clients on regulatory compliance, insurance coverage, legal holds, document retention, and crisis management; coordinating expert discovery for corporate clients in hundreds of high-stakes product liability actions; and investigating compliance issues.
