Laura’s presentation, Recent Developments in U.S. and Global Privacy and Security Laws, will address significant developments in privacy and security laws in the U.S. and abroad, explain the impact of these developments, project future trends, and provide recommendations for complying with challenging and ever-changing privacy and security laws.

Recent Developments in the Law CLE Summary:
Learn about the latest developments in a wide range of law practice areas while earning as many as 15 CLE hours in Kansas and Missouri, including at least 2 hours of ethics. The program is typically taught by faculty members with expertise in a variety of practice areas. Sessions vary from year to year and may include updates on judicial independence, statutory interpretation, family law, civil procedure, Supreme Court decisions and energy law.
Recent Developments in the Law is scheduled for Wednesday, May 22 and Thursday, May 23, 2019. Sessions begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. All sessions are in 104 Green Hall at the University of Kansas School of Law. Check-in and onsite registration will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday in the commons area outside room 104 Green Hall. Course materials will be provided online. Registrants will be notified via email in advance of the program when materials are available for download. If you purchase the optional printed materials, you will receive them onsite.
